Civics

This course examines the general structure and functions of American government systems, citizens’ roles and responsibilities to participate in the political process, and the individual’s relationship to the law and legal system. Civics courses do not typically delve into the same degree of detail on constitutional principles or the role of political parties and interest groups as comprehensive courses in the U.S. Government.
